Remember this flyer? It was circulated around NJ schools a few months ago. NJEA is partnering with Stockton College and the Southern Regional ETTC on a FREE series of workshops on Web 2.0 tools, interactive whiteboards, digital storytelling and more, on July 7th, 14th and 21st. Note: this is NOT part of the NJDOE/Kean University Creating 21st Century Schools initiative - more about that later!

Did you sign up and get accepted? Terrific! I'm sure you'll enjoy the workshops!

OR ... did you sign up but NOT get accepted to all the workshops you wanted? Maybe you missed the flyer entirely? Bottom line - are you available for part of the day on 7/7, 7/14 or 7/21 and interested in brushing up on your tech skills? If so, then read on!

Thanks to Douglas Harvey, Ed.D., Associate Professor of Instructional Technology at Stockton, we are being given use of a Stockton lab/classroom (Room H-101) with 4 PCs, 2 iMacs and wifi access ... for each of the days the Technology Integration Institute is running! (7/7, 7/14, 7/21)!

This means ... we're having an "unconference"... and you are invited to join us in Room H-101 at Stockon on any of these days ... for any part of the day between 10:15 am and 3:00 pm! Breeze in and out whenever you want, an hour, a couple of hours, whatever works for you. Bring your own personal laptop if you have one - we've got wireless! We'll learn and explore together, on whatever topics we decide to cover! (Though I have provided a sample agenda, too. Look on the left!)

There is NO COST ... we are on our own for lunch (the G-Wing Cafeteria will be open) ... and you WILL NOT get PD hours for attending ... but you WILL get time to "play" and explore tools that can help you teach. You'll be in a small group setting, with my help, and the help of others in the group!

Interested? Please note - SPACE IS LIMITED - we can only accommodate about 15 people each day. So, click here to sign up if you'll be able to attend!
